Salary Range: $7,151.14 - $9,189.04 Depending on Qualifications
Type: Full-time, regular union position.
The City of Woodland Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for testing to establish an eligibility list for Entry, Advanced, and Lateral Level Police Officers. The eligibility list shall be effective for one year from date of certification by the Civil Service Commission and may be extended for an additional year.
Nature of Work:
Police officers perform assigned patrol and/or detective law enforcement work necessary to maintain public peace and order, protect life and property, prevent crime, apprehend suspected violators of the law, and otherwise assure the enforcement of the State Laws and City Code under the jurisdiction of the office of the Chief of Police. Qualifications:
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Fluently read and write the English language
- Must be 21 years or older and in ordinary good health
- Have a valid Washington State Driver's License within two weeks of appointment
