City Council

The City operates under the Washington State's Mayor-Council Plan of Government as set forth in RCW 35A.12 as adopted in 1970.  Under this form of government, the City Council is the legislative function of the City that is responsible for establishing policies, passing local ordinances and resolutions, accepting contracts and settlements, approving the budget, and developing the overall vision for the City of Woodland. The Woodland City Council consist of seven (7) elected individuals that serve a four (4) year term or an unexpired term.  

Meeting Time: 

Regular Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Monday’s of every month at 7:00pm. Special Meetings/Workshops are as scheduled, but generally on the 2nd Monday of each month.

The public is welcome to attend all meetings in person or online via Youtube or Zoom.

**RCW 9.41.305 - It is unlawful for a person to knowingly open carry any weapon including, but not limited to, a firearm, knife, stun gun, or other dangerous weapon as defined in RCW 9.41.250, into any location housing a public meeting or hearing.
