City of Woodland partners with the Washington State Department of Revenue for Business Licensing Services. Anyone conducting business or operates a business within the Woodland City limits must obtain a City of Woodland endorsement on their Washington State business license, except those specifically exempted per City ordinance. Business licenses are good for one year and may be renewed through the Department of Revenue.
Exemption from fees are those businesses located OUTSIDE the city limits and having annual gross product, sales, or gross income of $2,000 or less (WMC 5.04.022 (15)), but not including Peddler’s licenses or other regulatory licenses or activities that require a specialized permit.
The City of Woodland requires all contractors doing business over $10,000 with the city shall be in Compliance with the City’s E-Verify Requirements for Contractors.
