How much do records cost?

Please refer to the fee schedule link listed below for full details about the cost for records. If there is a cost associated with your request, city staff will contact you ahead of time before processing your request. All fees are to be paid prior to the release of records. 

How long does it take to fulfill a request?

Most requests can be filled within five business days of the request being received by the city. Additional time may be needed for larger requests or if there are several requests to be fulfilled ahead of yours. Staff will keep you updated about your request every 5 to 7 business days. RCW 42.56.520

What information is redactable and exempt from public discloser?

Is my request confidential?

Short answer is no. Public disclosure requests received by the city are public records and are subject to public disclosure upon request. This includes any personal information you provided (Name, phone number, address, and email address).
