Survey Crews on Site - March 4th - End of April 2024

The I-5 and SR 503 Interchange (Exit 21) project will improve the transportation system within the Exit 21 interchange area. The city, in partnership with consultant engineers, is beginning preliminary design of the improvements. During the project, survey crews and engineers may need to access your property. They may take photos, measurements, and may leave temporary or permanent markets.

The survey crews will be from PBS Engineering & Environmental, Inc., Environmental Science Associates, and Kittelson & Associates, INC. They will:

  • NEVER request to enter you home
  • Survey crews will drive marked company vehicles and carry proper identification
  • Attempt to notify occupants living on or near the property in advance or leave written notices if occupants do not answer the door
  • Keep closed gates closed and open gates open
  • Respect the rights of property owners
  • conduct their work professionally and safely

The survey crews' work will help build a map with topography, property lines, soils, trees, and utilities. The project team will use this map to design improvements at Exit 21 interchange. Having a design will allow the city to apply for grants to fund future construction.
