City of Woodland Announces Coffee Klatch Community Meetings

The city council, during their retreat on April 21, 2012, set a goal to hold Coffee Klatches in local businesses. This idea was initiated to help support our local businesses, to meet with constituents and business owners, and to increase positive communications throughout the city.

To meet this objective, the mayor submitted a verbal report to the council proposing to hold three such meetings during the month of September.  With council’s approval, the following dates, times and locations have been arranged & confirmed:

 Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.
Woodland East Community Center
369 Gun Club Road
This meeting is primarily for the residents of the Woodland East Mobile Park.

—————————————————

 Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
Columbia Bank
782 Goerig Street

—————————————————

Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.

The Coffee Klatch meetings will start with a short presentation.  Citizens will then be invited to talk one-on-one with the mayor and city council members present.  The meetings should last no longer than 60-90 minutes.  Light refreshments will be provided.
