Parks and Recreation
The parks and recreation department strives to promote the quality of life by serving the community's needs for quality recreational opportunities to all residents and visitors.
The Woodland Parks and Recreation serves the community by managing approximately 40 acres of parkland. A large portion of Woodland’s future lies in continued community growth and prosperity.
Recreation opportunities are one important measurement of community livability in that they also help to build strong neighborhoods and promote a high quality of life.
Citizens can reserve and rent the large shelter at Horseshoe Lake Park and the Community Center. Other smaller facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
