Associate Planner

The City is seeking qualified applicants for Associate Planner in the Community Development Department.
Salary range:  $4,442 to $5,412/mo, plus excellent benefit package, Full-time exempt position

Nature of job:
Under the general direction of the Community Development Director, or designee, the associate planner position is responsible for supervising the clerk (permit technician) and code enforcement officer, coordinating, preparing, and/or administering regional or local plans, land use regulations, design standards, information systems, or planning programs. Associate Planner are given broad responsibilities for managing projects, developing recommendations on planning issues, implementation of policies, and working with the public and appointed/elected officials.

This link will direct you to the Public Safety Testing website. You must complete the Public Safety Testing process PRIOR to completing a City of Woodland Employment Application. Once you complete the Public Safety Testing process, you will be notified by the City of Woodland and wil be advised of the next step.


Resumes and employment applications shall be accepted only when recruitment for open position(s) have been noticed. Police Reserve Officer applications are accepted on a continuous basis.

  • Acceptable proof of United States Citizenship or right-to-work in the United States must be supplied by successful applicants within three (3) days of employment.
