Hydrant Meter Rental
Hydrant Meters are required for all temporary connections to fire hydrants. Customers can request a hydrant meter by calling the public works office at (360) 225-7999, or by seeing them in person at 219 Davidson St. You can also fax in your request (by printing the form off from this page). Please call to confirm reciept of the request. The meter will be installed upon payment of all required fees. (Payments are taken by the Clerk/Treasurer's office at 230 Davidson Ave.) Once the payment, as well as all the information is received, the Public Works deparment will install the temporary meter. The meter will then be read and billed on a monthly basis. The minimum charge is $28.70 + $4.00 a day. Upon determining that the meter is no longer needed, the customer must make a request to the Public Works Department that the meter be removed. Staff will then do a final read on the meter and remove it from service. OTHERWISE, the city will charge at the $4.00/day rate as long as the meter is available even if it is not being used.

Street Sweeping
The City of Woodland 's street sweeping program provides a semi-annual sweeping of all city streets. The cities budget provides for the contracted expense of about $5,000 every 6 months. Additional requests for sweeping due to leaf or other debris problems typically require services of a contractor at about $500 - $800. per occurance. If you feel your street needs additional attention, a request should be made to the Public Works office for review.

Small Works Roster
The small works roster is a list of qualified contractors. Tthe city reviews the list before beginning projects on the cities real property budgeted at $200,000 or less. The city contacts the qualified company(s) and requests bids for the project. Work is awarded to the lowest responsible bid. To be added to the Small Works Roster please click on the link to sign up through the MRSC website provided in the drop down menu at the top of this page. Once you have completed the registration process, you will remain on the list until you request to be removed.
